ACE and Wet Drill Training

About the course

At Sullivan Aviation Services we provide a professional and modern wet drill training course for all aircrew members in all fields of aviation.

The course totals 4 hours and will cover survival training in the water. The training will be based on your needs if you operate with a life raft or if you do not currently operate with a life raft. The individualised program covers ditching, life jackets, survival in water when no life raft is available and survival in water using life raft, checklists, operation of Emergency Locator Transmitter, use of equipment, and taking command.

The wet drill course can be trained under the Civil Aviation Safety Authority approval for Part 121 or can be conducted as a stand-alone training course. A certificate including wet drill will be provided as part of the Safety and Emergency Procedures full training course or a Certificate of Completion will be provided if the wet drill training is taken as a stand-alone course.

The wet drill pictures on the Sullivan Aviation Services website are approved by the facility where wet drill training is undertaken in Sydney. ‘The ACE Training Centre, Bankstown Aerodrome’.
